Happy Birthday Dear DAD

He was ill , his heart had a massive block and his hopes kept fading
But still, he kept striving for our well being
A father who loved everything less than his daughter
A husband with fading breath promising his wife he would live longer
A man not ashamed of his own tears
held my hand and spoke to me about all his fears
All alone in the operating room, with his little girl as his last thought
He awakened knowing all had gone well, his battle with God he had fought
Yesterday, Today , Tomorrow
He was , is and will always be there to see his little girl grow

Letting Love win over me !

My day is long departed, with no strength left I crawl into bed

The blackness with reflective silence surrounds me strongly

I close my eyes and think of love in my life . .

The thought of being so loved by all yet so alone this moment disturbs me

The mind begins its filthy games with me teamed with loneliness

Every passing minute I wage a war to triumph, to retain my peace

For I know that I am loved and really known by that one!

With you in my heart and allowing all those happy moments with you to seep into me

I sleep silently with hope waiting for you my love to embrace me along with dawn

You arrive weary after work but always with a radiant smile to cradle me in your arms

And now I shall rest in you like a child with gratitude for having let Love win over me!

He was a "WARRIOR"

There were times he felt he was in darkness even in the broad day light,
It was then he learnt to persevere and shine like the sun so very bright.


There were times that he wondered if he belonged to anyone,
It was then he made himself capable of reaching the horizon.


There were times when he felt if anyone ever missed him or even remembered,
It was then he taught himself that his agony could be easily crushed.


There were times when he was cramped by pain and failure,
It was then he remembered he was always a  survivor and a "WARRIOR"

LISTEN to the Unheard Voice . . .

Paradise is this life ever so live!

The challenges are enormous and you have to strive

Bearing a face with smile so bright

Stand up to life and put on a tough fight

Glaring into the unknown, with eyes open wide

Embrace every success with all your pride

As the hours crawl and days fly

With hope and determination continue to try

A solitary journey with no time to worry or sigh

Remember the heart speaks valiantly when words die!!

A tribute to my first HERO

Your presence forever strong, as I cuddle in your arm,


I feel your love and care, keeping me safe from harm.


There is something special about your love,


That has been bestowed upon me, from god up above.


In life’s challenging journey, you are always there for me,


Striving hard to make me be the best I can be.


Guiding me through my trials and tests,


You always knew what would be the best.


Looking into your eyes, that love and care I did see,


How blessed could I be, you are the dad gifted for me.




You were there to raise me up whenever I fell down


And you played the best clown to remove my frown.


My mentor, friend and protective shield


Dad, you are my brave commander in life’s battlefield.


The anxiety of my future might put you in fear


But my proceedings to come will make you proud my dear.


My secret admirer to whom I look up even as I grow older,


Dad you are my everlasting hero forever.


Here I am thanking you from my heart


Promising you that nothing can tear us apart.

I KNOW YOU’L LEAVE THIS WORLD LOVING ME

Every second in life I feel you in my vein

In life’s long run you bear my greatest strain

You consider my need before my deserving

Let me live my life with your eternal blessing

Time can take everything but my memories

Be my guardian angel in all my miseries

If you were ever to leave me before my life is over

I know you will leave this world loving me dear mother


I said my everyday prayer hoping god would have heard

I felt his reply in my heart though I dint hear his word

I prayed for your happiness in all things great and small

It is for your loving care that I prayed most of all.

All my life you have been my protector

And I realize you are the best in the wide world over.

You live to help me grow, live, achieve and prosper

And I know you will leave this world loving me dear mother
